After lots of experimenting, I have discovered an infused water drink which will have your taste buds on fire, as well as prepping your body for the day ahead. I used to drink hot water with slices of lemon in it - not a particularly flavorsome or even enjoyable drink, but I knew it made me feel good!
My new breakfast drink is Watermelon, lime and mint:
Pop chunks of watermelon, and slices of lime into the infuser (i keep the skin on the lime as I prefer the stronger flavor). I leave this infusing over night. I add about 5 mint leaves in the morning (about half an hour before I wish to drink it) - so as not to overpower the water - but you may want to leave them in overnight.
The benefits, apart from a refreshing and hydrating drink are........watermelon helps to flush out toxins from the body; lime helps your digestion as well as being packed full of vitamins, iron, potassium and calcium. The mint is for an extra kick of flavor, but it has the added benefit of helping digestion.
